Church History

The Whitefield Community Baptist Church traces its history to the first settlers of the town of Whitefield when it began its meetings in 1816 in “Asa King’s Barn” - which also served as the town meeting location, and the school.

Through the years the Church was served by many different ministers, and has focused on gospel ministry - proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ through words and actions.
